Note: The climate control unit stores vehicle-specific information. A new climate control unit does not contain such information. When the ignition is turned on after replacing the climate control unit, the control unit reads the vehicle-specific information sent via the CAN bus from the instrument cluster and stores the vehicle-specific information.


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the following parts:
  • Decorative panel.
  • Versions with manual transmission: gearshift knob.
  • Front console box.
  • Gear shift panel.
  • Top panel.
  • Rear console.
  • Side walls.
  • Front console.

3. Loosen the mounting screws, disconnect the connectors and remove the climate control unit.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

5. Turn on the ignition and perform automatic configuration of the climate control unit.

6. Delete fault codes from the vehicle's memory.
