Removal and installation the ventilation unit (Mazda CX-5KE)

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the following parts:
  • Front door sill trim on the passenger side.
  • Front side trim on the passenger side.
  • The lower cover of the instrument panel.
  • Glove compartment.
  • Decorative panel.
  • Lower panel on the passenger side.

3. Disconnect the fan motor connector.

4. Disconnect the intake flap drive connector.

5. Loosen the ventilation unit mounting nuts.

6. Pass the ventilation block protrusion between the brackets as shown in the figure (1),
