Put the car on a lift and brake it with a parking brake.
Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the engine hood.
Remove the battery and its mounting bracket.
Raise the car on a lift.
Remove the engine cover.
Drain the oil from the crankcase, drain the coolant and oil from the gearbox.
Loosen the nuts securing the ball joints of the front suspension arms to the steering knuckles.
Remove the tips of the internal hinges of the front wheel drive shafts from the semi-axial gears of the gearbox and hang the shafts to the body.
Disconnect from a transmission of draft of switching and a choice of transfers.
Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.
Remove the air filter.
Disconnect the air hoses from the carburetor.
Disconnect the carburetor throttle cable from the engine.
Disconnect the clutch cable and the speedometer drive flexible shaft from the gearbox.
Remove the ignition coil from the side member.
Disconnect the wires from the elements and assemblies of electrical equipment installed on the engine.
On vehicles with automatic transmission, disconnect the shift control cable from the transmission.
Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the radiator and remove the radiator.
Disconnect the fuel supply and drain hoses from the fuel pump.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum brake booster.
Loosen the nuts securing the front and rear suspension mounts to the power suspension cross member
unit.
