Place the chain on the crankshaft and camshaft sprockets, aligning the white links of the chain with the marks on the sprockets (see photo). Secure the chain in this position with wire on the camshaft sprocket and place the sprocket on the end of the crankshaft.

Install the camshaft drive cover with a new gasket.
Install the camshaft sprocket.
Fit the camshaft sprocket mounting nut and tighten it to the specified torque, locking the camshaft using a flat-head wrench on the flats.
Put the oil pan back in place, having first lubricated its mating surface with sealant.
Install the pulley on the crankshaft, tighten its mounting bolt, having first applied special glue to the threads.
Install the chain tensioner on the camshaft drive cover, completely pressing the plunger into the tensioner housing and locking it in this position (see Fig.).

Install the front segment cylinder head cover seal into the cylinder head socket.
Replace the cylinder head cover.
