Make sure that the crankshaft and camshafts are in the position corresponding to the TDC of the piston of the 1st cylinder.
Place the chain on the crankshaft and camshaft sprockets, aligning the white chain links with the marks on the sprockets (see photo). Fix the chain in this position with a wire on the camshaft sprocket and put the sprocket on the end of the crankshaft.
Install the camshaft drive cover with a new gasket.
Install the camshaft sprocket.
Fit the camshaft sprocket nut and tighten it to the required torque, blocking the camshaft with a flat wrench by the flats.
Replace the oil sump, after lubricating its mating surface with sealant.
Install the pulley on the crankshaft, tighten the bolt of its fastening, having previously applied special glue to the threads.
Install the chain tensioner on the camshaft drive cover, while fully sinking the plunger into the tensioner housing and locking it in this position (see fig.).
Install the front segmental seal of the cylinder head cover into the cylinder head seat.
Replace the cylinder head cover.
