To replace worn or damaged bearings, it is necessary to remove the brake drum or disc, depending on the modification.

Place the rear of the vehicle on stands and remove the wheel from the desired side.

Remove the hub cap, loosen and unscrew the hub mounting nut on the journal.

Remove the brake drum or disc. Remove the thrust washer and inner bearing races.

Place the brake drum or disc on a work bench and press the outer races of the roller bearings out of the hub using a bronze drift.

Press new bearing outer races into the hub using mandrels of the appropriate diameter.

Then perform the operations in the reverse order of removal, adjusting the preload of the hub bearings.
