Removing
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Attention! This erases the data from the engine fault memory or the radio's security code. Before disconnecting the battery, read the instructions in Section Removing and installing the battery.
2. Remove the bottom upholstery of the tailgate.
3. Remove the wiper arm.
4. Remove the sealing cap, unscrew and remove the outer sleeve.
5. Disconnect the multi-pin plug from the motor.
6. Unscrew the motor from the body, to do this, unscrew 4 bolts.
Installation
1. When installing a new wiper motor, it must first be moved to its end position. To do this, connect the plug and let the motor run for about 1 minute. Then turn off the motor with the switch and allow it to settle into the end position. Disconnect plug.
2. Screw the motor to the tailgate with force 10 Nm.
3. Install the outer sleeve, tighten the nut with force 5 Nm.
4. Put on the sealing cap.
5. Install the wiper arm.
6. Connect the plug to the motor.
7. Connect the mass cable to the battery.
8. Check the operation of the wiper.
9. If available, set the clock and set the radio's security code.
10. To establish the bottom upholstery of a door of a back.
