Removal
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Warning! This will erase the engine fault memory or the radio security code. Before disconnecting the battery, read the instructions in Section Removal and installation the battery.

2. Disconnect the multi-pin plug from the motor.
3. Unscrew the motor from the body plate (2 bolts).
4. Press rod "6" away from crank "5" with a large screwdriver.
Attention! If you need to remove the crank from the motor, you should first mark its position relative to the holder (mark).
Installation
1. When installing a new wiper motor, it must first be brought to the end position. To do this, connect the plug and let the motor run for about 1 minute. Then turn off the motor with the switch and let it settle to the end position. Disconnect the plug.
2. Screw the crank onto the motor according to the mark on the holder and tighten with force 15 Nm.
3. Install the rod on the crank and screw the motor on with force 10 Nm.
4. Connect the multi-pin plug.
5. Connect the ground cable to the battery.
6. Check the operation of the windshield wiper.
7. If available, set the time on the clock and set the security code for the radio receiver.
