Removing
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Attention! This erases the data from the engine fault memory or the radio's security code. Before disconnecting the battery, read the instructions in Section Removing and installing the battery.
2. Disconnect the multi-pin plug from the motor.
3. Unscrew the motor from the body plate (2 bolts).
4. Press rod -6- off crank -5- with a large screwdriver.
Attention! If you want to remove the crank from the motor, you must first mark its position relative to the holder (label).
Installation
1. When installing a new wiper motor, it must first be moved to its end position. To do this, connect the plug and let the motor run for about 1 minute. Then turn off the motor with the switch and allow it to settle into the end position. Disconnect plug.
2. Screw the crank on the motor according to the marked mark on the holder and tighten with force 15 Nm.
3. Install the rod on the crank and screw the motor with force 10 Nm.
4. Connect the multi-pin plug.
5. Connect the mass cable to the battery.
6. Check the operation of the wiper.
7. If available, set the clock and set the radio security code.
