Windscreen wiper rubbers should be replaced if they are in poor condition. Complete wiper blades are available for sale (rubber bands with holders), and the rubber bands separately. If only the rubber band is replaced, make sure that the holder is not bent.

Removal


1. Fold the windshield wiper arm upward.

2. Set the brush at a right angle to the lever.

3. Press the polymer locking clip, press the brush in the direction of the arrow and remove it from the lever hook.

4. Remove the brush through the hole next to the polymer bracket from the lever.

5. Remove the rubber band with staples from the metal mount.

6. Remove the metal holder from the rubber band and insert it into the new rubber band so that the notches in the bar face the rubber band and the rubber protrusions fit into the grooves.



Attention! The holders must not be bent, replace if necessary.


Installation



Installation


1. Insert the new rubber band "21" with the mounting strip "22" into the metal brackets of the brush. In this case, start from the open side of the rubber band.

2. Insert the brush into the lever; wiper blade and allow the polymer retaining clip to snap into place.

3. Fold the windshield wiper arm back into place. Make sure that the rubber is in contact with the glass everywhere.
