If there are problems with the fuel supply, the system should be checked in the following order:

1. Check if there is fuel in the tank.

2. Disconnect the fuel hose between the mechanical fuel pump and the carburetor on the carburetor and lower it into a suitable container. Turn on the starter briefly, while fuel should come out of the hose in jerks.

Warning! Fire hazard!

3. If fuel is supplied, check its level in the carburetor inspection window. If the float chamber is empty, check the float and needle valve (is done in the workshop), replace if necessary.

4. If fuel is not supplied, check the fuel pump.

5. If the fuel pump is OK, check the fuel lines for leaks and damage.

6. If the pipes and connections are in order, remove the fuel line to the gas tank and blow it out.

7. Check the patency of the gas tank ventilation, clean if necessary.
