In a frontal impact, the movement of the engine and other elements inward causes the brake pedal bracket A to move backward, and it separates from the brake pedal bracket B. The rearward movement of the brake pedal lever, connected to the bracket support A, is prevented by the limiter on the brake pedal bracket B. As a result, the rearward movement of the brake pedal lever is suppressed by the movement of the brake pedal bracket A.
