To tow a trailer, use a towing hitch of the appropriate design. It is recommended to install a genuine Mazda towing hitch on the vehicle. To install the hitch, use the pre-drilled bolt holes provided by the manufacturer. For more detailed information, contact an authorized Mazda dealer.



Before towing a trailer, check the air pressure in all tires, which must correspond to the recommended values. Refer to the placard with the recommended air pressure in the tires. The values indicated on the placard correspond to the tires in a cold state. The size, load index of the tires, as well as the air pressure in the tires on the trailer must correspond to the trailer's factory specification.

Note: For vehicles with a "sedan" body: vehicles with a "SPORT" rear bumper are not designed for towing a trailer (fig. 1.158).
