Check the smooth movement of the automatic drive belt tensioner in the operating direction (fig. 2.235).
If the tensioner does not move smoothly, replace it.
Turn the drive belt automatic tensioner pulley manually and make sure it rotates smoothly.
If the tensioner does not move smoothly, replace it.
Install the drive belt.
