Checking and adjusting the throttle cable (diesel) (Mazda 3 BK)

Make sure the throttle valve closes completely.

Move the throttle cable in directions A and B, and check whether the throttle cable clearance is within the standard (fig. 2.317).

If the clearance is not within the standard, adjust the cable clearance with lock nut C.

Standard: 1.0–3.0 mm.
Tightening torque: 9.8–14.7 Nm.
