2. Inspect the cable along its entire length and make sure it is not stuck anywhere.
3. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and make sure the throttle is fully open (Chapter 14), and the cable is adjusted correctly (Section 4).
4. Measure the play of the cable at the carburetor and adjust it as necessary, as shown in the illustration. The clearance should be 1-3 mm.
Adjusting the throttle linkage (Chapter 19):
- A - If the play needs adjustment, turn this nut
- B - Press the pedal all the way down and if the carburetor throttle valve is not fully open, adjust its position with this bolt
