Removal and installation the D-pillar trim (Mazda CX-5KE)

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the following parts:

• Trunk floor.
• Trunk lid trim.
• Rear door sill trim.
• Side trim of the trunk.

3. Taking hold of the shaded areas in the figure, remove the D-pillar trim in the direction of the arrows in the sequence (1), (2), (3), disconnecting the clips A and pins B.



3. Pull the D-pillar trim in the direction of the arrow (4) and remove it, disconnecting the C guide.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
