Removing
Place the front of the car on stands and remove the wheels.
Slide the interior sealing cover on the steering shaft.
Loosen the bolt securing the lower steering shaft universal joint to the drive gear shaft.
Loosen the nuts securing the ball pins of the steering link joints to the steering knuckles, remove the cotter pins, unscrew the nuts and, using a universal ball pin puller, press the ball pins of the steering knuckles out of the steering knuckles.
Loosen then remove the bolts securing the steering box to the bulkhead.
Disconnect the universal joint of the lower steering shaft from the drive gear shaft and remove the steering gear assembly with rods, pulling it towards the left wheel.
Installation
Install the steering in the reverse order of removal. Before mounting the steering mechanism, install the steering wheel spoke horizontally and put the rack in the midpoint position, in this position, connect the steering shaft to the drive gear shaft.
