Close the air damper completely, locking the throttle control sector.
Disconnect the air hose from the air damper pneumatic actuator fitting and connect a vacuum pump to the fitting.
Apply a vacuum of 400 mm Hg to the diaphragm of the air damper pneumatic drive.
Measure the gap "A" between the air damper and the air nozzle, which should be within 1.30-1.80 mm.
