Removal



Place the car on a lift.

Remove the camshaft drive belt.

Raise the car.

Drain the oil from the engine.

Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.

Remove the oil pan.

Remove the oil pump receiver.

Loosen the crankshaft toothed pulley mounting bolt.

Remove the front engine cover with the oil pump and remove the oil pump from the cover.

Installation



Press the new front crankshaft oil seal into the front cover socket, after lubricating it with engine oil.

Put the oil pump back in place.

Install the front engine cover with a new gasket.

Install the oil pan with a new gasket, applying sealant to the mating surfaces.

Check the tightness of the oil pan drain plug.

Install the toothed pulley onto the crankshaft.

Install the camshaft drive belt.
