The clutch drive should be adjusted after each clutch repair and also regularly as part of maintenance. The adjustment should also be checked if there is difficulty in engaging and disengaging the clutch.

Adjustment

Adjustment

1. Measure the pedal height from the top of the pedal to the floor mat. Required value: from 215 to 220 mm.

2. To adjust the pedal height, remove the lower instrument panel trim to access the adjusting bolt. Adjust the pedal height by turning the stop bolt, after loosening the lock nut (lock nut). On models with an electronic injection system, a clutch switch is installed instead of a stop bolt. In this case, disconnect the plug and adjust the pedal height by turning the switch.

3. Measure the free travel of the pedal. To do this, lightly press the pedal with your hand until you feel significant resistance. Required value: from 9 to 15 mm.

3. Measure the free travel of the pedal. To do this, lightly press the pedal with your hand until…

4. If the pedal free play does not meet the required limits, open the hood and adjust the free play using the adjusting nut "B" on the threaded element of the clutch cable. Required gap value "A": from 1.5 to 3.0 mm (gap between gear lever and cable pin).

5. After adjustment, fully depress the clutch pedal and measure the disengagement height between the pedal pad and the mat. Required value: minimum 85 mm. Otherwise, repeat the adjustment.
