Disconnect the sensor connector.

Check the continuity of the circuit between the terminals of the liquid level sensor (Fig. 6.29).
If the readings are not normal, replace the fluid level sensor.
Checking the liquid level sensor (Mazda 3 BK)
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the sensor connector.
