Disconnect the vacuum hose connector from the brake booster by pressing on the tabs of the vacuum hose connector (Fig. 6.11).

Remove the clamp using pliers and disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold (Z6) (Fig. 6.12).

Insert a thin flat-blade screwdriver at the point indicated by the arrow in Figure 6.13, move the ring down and disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold (LF).

Remove the vacuum hose.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Make sure the vacuum hose is inserted so that the vacuum hose connection touches the intake manifold (LF) ring.

Insert the vacuum hose connector into the brake booster.

Make sure the vacuum hose is securely installed by pulling on it and reinsert it into the brake booster.

Make sure the brake booster coil is in the vacuum hose connector (Fig. 6.14).
