From the driver's side



1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the following parts:
  • Driver's door sill trim.
  • Side trim on the driver's side.
  • Versions with navigation system: navigation system unit.
  • Switch panel.
  • Decorative panel.
  • Versions with manual transmission: gearshift knob.
  • Front console box.
  • Switch panel.
  • Top panel.
  • Rear console.
  • Side walls.
  • Front console.
  • Hood release lever.

3. Loosen screws A.

4. Grasp the shaded areas in the figure and pull the lower panel on the driver's side in the direction of the arrows in the sequence (1), (2), (3), (4), remove it by disconnecting the clips B, hooks C and pins D.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

From the passenger side



1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the following parts:
  • Door sill trim on the front passenger side.
  • Side trim on the front passenger side.
  • Glove compartment.
  • Decorative panel.
  • The lower cover of the instrument panel.

4. Grasp the shaded areas in the figure and pull the lower panel on the passenger side in the direction of the arrows in the sequence (1), (2), (3), remove it by disconnecting the hook B, clips C, pins D and clips E.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
