2. Pull the damper strut in the direction of the arrow (2) in the figure to release hook B.
Caution: If the glove box is closed with the damper strut disconnected, the damper strut may be damaged. Make sure the damper strut is connected before closing the glove box.
3. Pull the glove compartment in the direction of the arrow (3).
