Spare wheel (optional)

Your vehicle may be equipped with a compact spare tire intended for temporary use only. The compact spare tire is lighter in weight and size than the standard tires that the vehicle is equipped with. The compact tire is intended for short-term use only in the event of damage to the vehicle tire. It is prohibited to use the compact spare tire for long-distance driving.

Attention.
  • It is prohibited to install a small spare tire on the front drive axle of the vehicle. Driving a vehicle with a small spare tire installed in front is dangerous. It will significantly impair the vehicle's handling. You may lose control of the vehicle, especially on icy or snowy roads, and get into a traffic accident. If one of the front wheels is damaged, move the working rear wheel forward and install the small spare tire in its place.
  • When using a small spare tire, the vehicle's driving stability may be worse than when the vehicle is equipped with all four normal-sized tires. Therefore, be especially careful when driving.
  • To avoid damage to the compact spare tire or vehicle, observe the following precautions.
  • Do not exceed the speed limit of 80 km/h.
  • Avoid driving over obstacles on the road. Also, do not drive into a mechanized car wash. Since the diameter of the small-sized wheel is smaller than the diameter of the standard wheels installed on the car, the ground clearance of the car is reduced by about 10 mm. It is prohibited to install anti-skid chains on the small-sized spare wheel, since they do not fit this wheel.
  • It is prohibited to install a small spare tire on cars of other brands and models. The small spare tire is designed only for your car model.
  • No more than one small spare tire may be installed on a vehicle at a time.
