An activated hazard warning light warns other road users that your vehicle is a potential hazard and they should take extra precautions when passing your vehicle.
Press the hazard switch. At the same time, all four lamps and side repeaters of direction indicators will start flashing. When the alarm is working, the corresponding indicators flash on the instrument cluster.
Note:
When the hazard warning light is on, the direction indicator lights do not respond to the inclusion of direction indicators.
When towing your vehicle, use the hazard warning lights as required by the traffic regulations.
If the brake pedal is depressed while driving on a slippery road, the emergency braking alarm may sound. In this case, all direction indicators will flash.
When the alarm is activated during an emergency braking of the car, all direction indicators automatically begin to flash at a high frequency in order to warn drivers behind cars of the potential danger.
