2. Visually verify that the thermostat valve is closed.
3. Place thermostat in water.
Attention. During the test, the thermostat and water heat up and can cause various burns. Do not touch the thermostat and water.
4. When heating water, check the opening temperature and the height of the thermostat valve fully open. If abnormalities are found, replace the thermostat with a new one.
Note:
- Thermostat valve start opening temperature: 80.5-83.5°C.
- Thermostat valve full opening temperature: 95°C.
- Full opening height of the thermostat valve: not less than 8.5 mm.
