2. Visually verify that the thermostat valve is closed.
3. Place the thermostat in water.
Warning: During the test, the thermostat and water will become hot and may cause various burns. Do not touch the thermostat and water.
4. When heating the water, check the opening temperature and the full opening height of the thermostat valve. If any deviations from the norm are found, replace the thermostat with a new one.
Note:
- Thermostat valve opening start temperature: 80.5-83.5°C.
- Full opening temperature of the thermostat valve: 95°C.
- Full opening height of thermostat valve: not less than 8.5 mm.
