Loosen the X and Y nuts on the gear selector cable end.
Set the selector lever to the "N" position and check that the locking roller is in the correct position.
Set the gear selector rod on the gearbox to the correct position.
Slowly tighten adjusting nut X until it touches washer Z, then tighten lock nut Y to a torque of 0.8-1.0 kgf·m.
By successively moving the selector lever to different positions, check whether the gear selector rod on the gearbox moves accordingly.
Install the selector lever cover.
