Place the car on a flat, level surface and apply the handbrake. Remove the dipstick and wipe it with a hard, lint-free cloth.
Fill the gearbox with oil through the dipstick tube.
Start the engine, set the selector lever to position "P" and measure the oil level with the dipstick, which should be between the marks on the dipstick.
