Connect one pressure gauge to the outlet fitting of the working hydraulic system and the other to the outlet fitting of the oil pressure regulator.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum modulator and plug the hose opening.
Connect the vacuum pump to the vacuum modulator.
Apply the parking brake to the vehicle.
Start the engine and move the selector lever to position "D".
Smoothly press the accelerator pedal and at the moment of a sharp drop in the operating oil pressure, measure and record the value of the regulating pressure.
Measure the control pressure again, having first created a vacuum of 200 mm Hg with a vacuum pump.
If the obtained values do not correspond to the nominal ones (see subsection "Detailed technical specifications"), check if the vacuum modulator rod is installed correctly and moves freely.
