Checking the working pressure (Mazda Familia BF)

Place chocks under the wheels and apply the handbrake.

Attach the tachometer and connect the pressure gauge to the outlet fitting of the working hydraulic system.

Measure the operating oil pressure in the automatic transmission test mode as described above and at idle speed, successively moving the selector lever to positions "D", "2" and "R".

After each stage of checking the operating pressure in the test mode of the automatic transmission, wait some time for the engine to cool down.

Compare the obtained values with the nominal ones (see subsection "Detailed technical specifications").

Evaluate the results of the working pressure test according to the table "Possible malfunctions of automatic transmission and their causes".
