Ride height adjustment system (vehicles with all-wheel drive, if available)

Ride height adjustment system (vehicles with all-wheel drive, if available)

With this system, the vehicle can be set "higher" or "deeper" according to road conditions. When the load changes, for example when passengers board or disembark or when luggage is loaded or unloaded, the set ride height is set automatically.

Control

TIEF "Low" Under normal driving conditions and highway driving, set the ignition to the "Low" position. In this case, the "LOW" indicator lights up.

HOCH "High" On rough or country roads, set the ignition to the "High" position with the ignition on. In this case, the "HIGH" indicator lights up.

Indication

1. When the ride height is switched from the "Low" position to the "High" position, the indicator flashes during the setting . When the height is set, the red indicator lights up.

2. Setting "Low" or "High" corresponds to about 20 mm deeper or 10 cm higher than the standard ground clearance of two-wheel drive vehicles.

Warning: If both the "HIGH" and "LOW" indicators are flashing, the system may be faulty or the following problems may occur:

  • The vehicle is loaded with more than 350 kg (passengers and baggage).
  • The vehicle is tilted due to uneven loading or road conditions.
  • If the problems mentioned in the two previous points are absent, then the system is faulty. Contact the MAZDA service center.

Caution: Be careful when adjusting the ride height while driving.

  • Do not set the ride height higher if you are driving at high speed or turning.
