Headlights with xenon lamps
Headlight low/high beam lamp
Do not attempt to replace the low/high beam headlight bulbs yourself. To replace the bulb, contact an authorized Mazda dealer.
Daytime running lights
1. Make sure that the ignition switch and central light switch are in the "OFF" position.
2. Open the hood.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the light. To do this, press the connector lock tab with your finger and separate the connector parts.

4. Turn the socket counterclockwise and remove the socket with the bulb from the headlight housing. Carefully pull the bulb and remove it from the socket in the reflector.

5. Install the new lamp and perform the above operations in reverse order.
Headlights with halogen lamps
Low beam headlight bulbs
1. Make sure that the ignition switch and central light switch are in the "OFF" position.
2. Open the hood.
3. Right side: Remove the washer reservoir from the guide.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector. To do this, press the tab of the lock with your finger and separate the parts of the connector.

5. Turn the socket counterclockwise and remove the socket with the bulb from the headlight housing. Carefully pull the bulb and remove it from the socket in the reflector.

6. Install the new lamp and perform the above operations in reverse order.
High beam headlights/daytime running lights
1. Make sure that the ignition switch and central light switch are in the "OFF" position.
2. Open the hood.
3. Right side: Remove the washer reservoir from the guide.

4. Remove the sealing cover.

5. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and remove it from the flashlight.

6. Install the new lamp and perform the above operations in reverse order.
Front direction indicator/side lights
1. Make sure that the ignition switch and central light switch are in the "OFF" position.
2. When replacing the bulb in the right headlight, start the engine and turn the steering wheel all the way to the right. Then turn off the engine. Accordingly, if you are replacing the bulb in the left headlight, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left.
3. Pull out the plastic retainer cores and remove the retainers.

4. Loosen the screws by turning them counterclockwise and partially pull back the mudguard.

5. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and remove it from the flashlight.
6. Remove the lamp from the socket.

7. Install the new lamp and perform the above operations in reverse order.

Fog lights (optional)

Due to the complexity of replacing LED elements, work must be performed at an authorized Mazda dealer service station.
Note: The design of the flashlight does not provide for the possibility of replacing an individual LED element (lED elements are built into the flashlight). Replace the lamp assembly.
Brake lights/tail lights, rear turn signals, tail lights (on the rear liftgate), reversing lights
1. Make sure that the ignition switch and central light switch are in the "OFF" position.
2. Rear liftgate: Remove the cover by prying it with a flat-head screwdriver wrapped in a rag.

3. Turn the socket with the lamp counterclockwise and remove it from the flashlight.
4. Remove the lamp from the socket.

5. Install the new lamp and perform the above operations in reverse order.
Rear fog light
1. Check that the ignition switch and central light switch are in the "OFF" position.
2. Pull out the plastic retainer cores and remove the retainers.

3. Turn the socket with the lamp counterclockwise and remove it from the flashlight.
4. Remove the lamp from the socket.

5. Install the new lamp and perform the above operations in reverse order.
Center High Brake Light
Due to the complexity of replacing LED elements, work must be performed at an authorized Mazda dealer service station.
Note: The design of the flashlight does not provide for the possibility of replacing an individual LED element (lED elements are built into the flashlight). Replace the lamp assembly.
License plate lights
1. Make sure that the ignition switch and central light switch are in the "OFF" position.
2. Wrap a small flat-head screwdriver in a soft cloth (to avoid mechanical damage to the diffuser) and remove the diffuser by carefully pressing on its edge with a screwdriver.
3. Pull and remove the lamp from the holder.

4. Install the new lamp and perform the above operations in reverse order.
