Attention.
- Do not replace HID xenon lamps yourself. Replacing xenon headlight bulbs on your own is dangerous. If xenon lamps are handled incorrectly, you may receive an electric shock because such lamps use high electrical voltage. If you need to replace xenon lamps, contact a service station of an authorized Mazda dealer.
- Do not touch the glass bulb of the halogen lamp with bare hands. Always wear safety goggles when handling halogen lamps. A halogen lamp is dangerous if broken. The flask of a halogen lamp contains gas under excess pressure. If the lamp breaks, severe injury to people by flying fragments of the bulb is possible. If you touch the bulb of a halogen lamp with bare hands, the remaining greasy fingerprints can lead to overheating of the included lamp and its explosion.
- Always keep halogen lamps out of the reach of children. It is dangerous to play with halogen lamps. If the halogen lamp is dropped or otherwise broken, people in the vicinity may be seriously injured.
Note:
- To replace the bulb, contact an Authorized Mazda Dealer.
- If you accidentally touched the bulb of a halogen lamp with your fingers, then before installing the lamp, wipe the bulb from grease residues with a clean rag soaked in alcohol.
- Pack the burned out lamp in the new lamp box. Dispose of burned-out lamps out of the reach of children.
