Ignition and steering column lock

If the ignition key does not turn, move the steering wheel from side to side and at the same time turn the key to the "ON (II)" position.

Caution! Never turn the ignition key to the "LOCK (0)" or "ACC (I)" position while driving.

Warning! The steering wheel lock cannot replace the handbrake. Turn off the engine, set the automatic transmission lever (if the machine is installed) into position "P" (Park) and apply the handbrake before leaving the vehicle.

Warning: Never grasp the key through the steering wheel when starting, as there is a risk of injury if the steering wheel suddenly turns.

Caution! Do not leave the ignition key in the "ON (II)" position with the engine off, as this will discharge the battery.

Ignition switch illumination (if any)

To make it easier to insert the ignition key in the dark, the ignition switch light comes on when the driver's door is opened.
