The spare wheel, depending on the need, can be placed either in a standing or lying position.
Spare wheel in standing position:
- 1. Tilt the spare wheel cover towards the back of the rear seat.
- 2. Install the wheel and secure it with straps.
Attention! Check that the rear seat backrest is properly secured when placing the spare wheel in a standing position so that there is no additional hazard in the event of emergency braking or an accident.
Hatchback
Spare wheel, jack, jack handle and tools are located in the luggage compartment.
Note. To prevent the jack, jack handle and tools from rattling while driving, they must be properly secured.
Tool box
The toolbox is located on the right side of the luggage compartment.
Station wagon
The jack, jack handle and tools are located in the trunk.
Jacking out
Note. To prevent the jack, jack handle and tools from rattling while driving, they must be properly secured.
The jack is in the box on the right side. Open the cover and loosen the clamp bolt to remove the jack.
Removing the spare wheel from the mount
1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the cap of the mounting bolt. Squeeze the plug brackets in the direction of the arrow, and pull out the plug.
Turn the bolt with a wheel nut wrench 30-35 turns to the left.
Push the spare wheel bracket up and pull the calipers back to disengage the bracket. Firmly hold the spare wheel carrier while pushing the latch forward.
Attention! If you release the spare wheel holder, the wheel may pop out.
Fixing the spare wheel in the mount
1. Place the spare wheel correctly in the center of the mount.
Attention! If the spare wheel is not correctly installed in the holder, the holder will not properly lock. Even if the mount can be installed, there is a risk that the wheel will fall off while driving.
2. Fix a spare wheel in sequence, return to removal.
