Second gear lock mode (Mazda 6 GG)
If the vehicle is stationary or the vehicle speed does not exceed 10 km/h, then pressing the lever back (+) switches the transmission to the second gear lock mode. In this mode, the second gear will be engaged constantly. This is intended to facilitate starting off and driving on slippery road surfaces. To turn off the second gear lock mode, press the lever back (+) or forward (–).
