
To remove the wiring harness from the clamp in the engine compartment, pry up the clamp hook with a flat-head screwdriver.

Caution. Do not remove the electrical tape from the wiring harness. Otherwise, the wires may rub against the body, causing insulation damage and short circuits.

When disconnecting connectors, grasp the connectors, not the wires.

To disconnect the connectors, press or pull the latches as shown in the figure.

When connecting the connectors, listen for the click, which indicates that they are securely fastened.

When using a tester to check continuity or measure voltage, insert the tester probe into the connector on the wire side.

Check the terminals of sealed connectors from the connector side, since there is no access from the wire side.

Caution: To prevent damage to the terminals, wrap a thin wire around the tester probe before inserting it into the connector.
To remove fuses, use special tweezers.
