To remove the wiring harness from the clamp in the engine compartment, pry the hook of the clamp with a flat screwdriver.
Attention. Do not remove tape from wiring harness. Otherwise, the wires may rub against the body, as a result of which the insulation may be broken and short circuits will occur.
When disconnecting connectors, grasp the connectors, not the wires.
To disconnect the connectors, press or pull the tabs as shown in the figure.
When connecting the connectors, be guided by a click, indicating a secure fixation.
When using a tester for checking continuity or measuring voltage, insert the tester probe into the connector from the side of the wires.
Check the terminals of sealed connectors from the connector side, since there is no access from the wire side.
Attention. To prevent damage to the leads, wind a thin wire around the tester's probe before inserting it into the connector.
To remove the fuses, use special tweezers.
