Adjustment of the front fog lights must be performed after performing the following operations:
- Removing and installing front fog lights.
- Work affecting the height of the vehicle (for example, removal/installation or replacement of suspension elements).
1. Unload the vehicle, removing all passengers and cargo except for the spare tire, jack and tool kit.
2. Adjust the tire pressure to the norm.
3. Place the car on a level surface.
4. Create the screen shown in the picture from white paper.
5. Place the screen opposite the car so that the distance from the wall to the headlight is 3 meters.
6. Measure the height of the center point of the front fog light.
Note: It is necessary to measure the height of the center point of the fog lamp at which the adjustment will be made because the vehicle height may vary depending on different conditions.
7. Align the center of the fog light with the center of the screen.
8. Cover the front fog light that is not adjustable.
9. Start the engine to recharge the battery.
10. Turn on the front fog lights.
11. Make sure that the fog light boundary matches the position on the adjustment screen.
12. If the refraction point of the headlight does not correspond to the position on the adjustment screen, adjust the position of the headlight as follows:
- Loosen the bolt and mounting screw.
Move the front fog lamp in the direction of the arrows in the figure to adjust the position of the light border to the corresponding position on the adjustment screen.
Tighten the bolt.
Tighten the screw.
