The cylinder block is cast from cast iron and is one piece with the cylinders. An aluminum holder is located at the rear of the cylinder block. The front part of the engine is closed by a cover, which is also the body of the oil pump. The front crankshaft oil seal is pressed into the cover.

Cylinder block height, mm: 206.5.

Warpage of the mating surface of the cylinder block, no more than, mm: 0.15.

Grinding tolerance, mm: 0.20.
