Drain the coolant from the radiator and cylinder block.
Remove the air filter.
Disconnect the plug connectors and disconnect the throttle cable from the engine.
Disconnect the cooling system hoses from the cylinder head.
Remove the intake manifold together with the carburetor, the exhaust manifold and the ignition distributor.
Remove the cylinder head cover.
Remove the camshaft drive chain tensioner.
Loosen the cylinder head mounting bolts in the reverse order of tightening. Loosen the bolt securing the cylinder head to the camshaft drive cover. Remove the rocker arm lubrication line.
Remove the camshaft, having first secured the chain to the sprocket.
Remove the cylinder head.
