Removal
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Warning! This will erase the engine fault memory or the radio security code. Before disconnecting the battery, read the instructions in Section Removal and installation the battery.
2. Disconnect the fan plug.
3. Unscrew the bolts securing the fan holder to the radiator.
4. Tilt the fan motor with the holder back and remove it upwards.
5. While holding the impeller, unscrew the central fan bolt on the motor.

6. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the motor from the holder.
Installation
1. Screw the fan motor to the holder.
2. Screw the impeller to the motor.

3. Screw the motor with the holder to the radiator with force 10 Nm.
4. Connect the plug.
5. Connect the battery ground cable.
6. If available, set the time on the clock and set the security code for the radio receiver.
7. Check the operation. To do this, warm up the engine until the fan turns on.
