
2. Make sure there is fuel in the tank.
3. Open the air bleed valve on the fuel filter.
4. Pump fuel from the tank using a hand pump. The pump is located on the top of the filter.
5. Pump until there are no more air bubbles in the fuel coming out of the bleed valve.
6. With the hand pump pressed, close the bleed valve.
7. Pump with a hand pump (about 15 times), until resistance is felt when pressing.

8. If the engine does not start due to an air lock in the injection lines, loosen the union nuts on the injectors and turn on the starter to let the fuel come out. Then tighten the nuts again and start the engine.
Caution! Make sure that diesel fuel does not come into contact with the coolant hoses. If necessary, clean the hoses immediately. Corroded hoses must be replaced.
