Checking the seat belt clamp sensor (Mazda CX-5KE)

1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait at least one minute.

3. Remove the appropriate seat belt bracket.

4. Using a tester, check the continuity of the circuit between the terminals of the seat belt clamp sensor connector. If the test result is not within the normal range, replace the seat belt clamp with a new one.
