Caution. If the initialization procedure of the dynamic stability system sensors is not completed, the system will not operate correctly and may cause a traffic accident. After replacing or removing the electronic control unit, it is necessary to perform the initialization procedure of the dynamic stability system sensors to ensure proper operation of the system.


1. Check the wheel alignment and tire pressure. Make adjustments if necessary.

2. Place the car on a level surface.

3. Turn off the ignition.

4. Connect the M-MDS (IDS) device to the DLC-2 diagnostic connector.

5. Once the vehicle has been identified, select the following parameters from the IDS home screen:
  • Select "Chassis"
  • Select "ABS/DSC"
  • Select " Sensor Initialization"

6. Then select the required parameter from the on-screen menu:
  • "Brake fluid pressure sensor" (brake fluid pressure sensor)
  • "Lateral Acceleration Sensor" (lateral acceleration sensor)
  • "Yaw Rate Sensor" (yaw rate sensor)
  • "Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor" (longitudinal acceleration sensor)

7. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the procedure.

8. Take a trip by car.

9. After at least five minutes of driving, perform diagnostics of the DSC system.
