2. Disconnect the starter interlock switch connector.
3. Remove the starter override switch:
Disconnect hook A in the direction of the arrow in the figure.
Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
Slide the starter interlock switch in the direction of the arrow in the figure.
Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
Remove the starter override switch from the clutch pedal.
Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
4. Install a new starter interlock switch:
Insert the hook B of the new starter interlock switch into the appropriate hole in the clutch pedal.
Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
While pressing the starter interlock switch against the clutch pedal, slide it until hook A locks in the direction of the arrow in the figure.
Note: replace the part with a new one after each removal.
5. Fully depress the clutch pedal in the direction of the arrow and check for a clicking sound from the starter interlock switch.
6. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
7. Press the clutch pedal all the way down and make sure the engine starts.
