- engine B3: 2°±1°;
- engines V5, V6: 6°±1°;
- b6 EGI engine: 12°±1°.

Brand and type: Man SH.N.
Secondary winding resistance, kOhm: 10-30.
Spark plugs
Brand and type: Denso W 16EXR-U or W 20 EXR-U or NGK BPR 5 ES or BPR 6 ES.
Gap between electrodes, mm:
- engines without turbocharger: 0.75-0.85;
- engines with a turbocharger: 0.70-0.80.
Engines B3 and B6. Automatic ignition advance characteristics: A - centrifugal regulator characteristic; B — vacuum regulator characteristic. When checking on a car, add the initial ignition advance angle. When checking the distributor sensor on a stand, reduce the values by half.
