Lubricate the axle gears and satellites with oil suitable for this gearbox.
Install the axle gears with support washers in the differential box.
Place the satellites with the support washers in place.
Install the satellite axle.
Insert the pin into the pinion shaft and stake the pin to prevent it from falling out of the differential case.
Install the driven gear into the box.
Check the lateral clearance between the teeth of the axle gears and satellites in the following order:
- insert the front wheel drive shafts into the hole of the axle gears;
- install the differential box assembly with the wheel drive shafts on the prisms;
- install a stand with an indicator on the differential box and measure the lateral clearance between the teeth of each satellite and the axle gear, which should be within 0-0.1 mm;
- if the gap size is greater than the norm, achieve the required gap by selecting the thickness of the axle gear support washers.
