- Tire pressure
- driving style
- weather conditions
First of all, a sporty driving style contributes to rapid tire wear.
Attention! The regulations require tires to be used up to a tread depth of 1.6 mm all around. It is recommended to replace tires already at a tread depth of 2.0 mm.
If the tread depth approaches the minimum allowable, the tire should be replaced.
Attention! M+S tires only have sufficient grip on sticky mud and snow with a tread depth of at least 4mm.
Attention! Check the tires for cuts and determine the depth of the cuts with a small screwdriver. If the cut extends to the cord, the steel cord will corrode due to penetrating water. The working surface moves away from the cord. Therefore, in case of deep cuts, the tire should be replaced.
