Dynamic stability management (Mazda 3 BK)

The DSC HU/CM hydraulic control mechanism and system control strategy are essentially the same as those of the previous 323 model, with the following exceptions:

• dSC unit and hydraulic unit are integrated for improved serviceability;
• lateral G-sensor and yaw rate sensor combined to improve maintainability;
• brake fluid pressure sensor integrated into DSC HU/CM;
• dSC HU/CM block I/O pins have been changed;
• electric brake assist is used to improve safety;
• the DSC switch is used to disable DSC operation;
• the DSC HU/CM system outputs the speed signal to the audio unit, windshield wiper and washer switch, vehicle navigation unit, cruise control actuator and the leveling-by-wire control unit, and outputs the speed signal via CAN;
• cAN communication system is used.
