The front engine cover is made of aluminum alloy and is integrated with the No.3 engine mounting bracket, which reduces weight and noise levels. The hole for the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt, the technological hole for unlocking the chain tensioner ratchet, and the technological hole for fixing the tensioner lever when the timing chain is loosened are located on the front engine cover. On L3 engine models, the oil line and integrated oil filter are located on the front cover (Fig. 2.15).
